Not bad at all.

I didn't think they did bad last week, but Landry did. ;)

They were kick *** on pass protection....Landry owes them dinner

Pass protection was good.
But there weren't a hole lot of holes to run through, though.
Low rushing stats...
BTW, Millard is a stud. I played close attention to him and he is an impressive blocker.

Similar to last week. Decent.

1 sack? More than decent IMO.

Couple of really bad high snaps today...'bout my only real gripe.

Better than just about anything we saw last season; let's hope they can work on that center snap this week though :)

Gave up 3 sacks last week, and probably none of them were their fault. More to it than that.

Any news on Donald Stephenson? After he got nicked up Jones played the majority of the remaining snaps, although Donald did get back in.

Much better. Big improvement against a better team.

Low rushing stats...

Stats don't tell the whole story. I saw a Murray and Madu consistently getting 3 or 4 yard runs on first down, and solid rushing inside the 10 to get us in the Endzone as opposed to settling for (missed) field goals. Today every aspect of our offense looked good.

Looks like the last few years, really good on pass protection, avg at best on run blocking

Pretty similar performance.

Millard is the best thing to happen to our run game since JD Runnels.

I think a few disagree, Doctor. ;)

Average fan watches the ball, sees the points, assumes.

The OL played similar, and disciplined football, both weeks thus far. The QB and the gameplan was vastly different. OL, pretty much the same.

So the High IQ fan...you...watches it all and sees all. I get it.

It seemed to me last week the line was getting pushed back alot more than it was today. But I'm not even a middle class fan. More like a peasant fan. Its hard to see the TV sometimes through the Sears window. ;)

USU blitzed a lot more than FSU did. Once FSU got desperate and started bringing guys, they found some soft spots.

Though USU got gashed by some long runs, where FSU didn't.

It's all relative. And that is the worst Florida State front-4 that I have ever seen.

Fair Enough. Improved from last year though?

100%

The discipline alone is night and day. If that transfers thru to road games, we are looking good.

When I saw the rushing stats I was taken aback. I expected them to be higher because Murray and Madu ran at will. They got just what they needed and big gains came through the air.

I'm just glad I don't lose count of the false starts before the end of the first quarter. Hell, Loadholt was the worst about that.

He had a couple against the Saints the other day.

The 2007 Big 12 title game, against Mizzou, was abysmal, I think he had 3. Other than that, he was solid, maybe 1 or 2 his senior year.

He had a face mask and a hold, when he was moved to left tackle after McKinnie got hurt.

The big boy had some issues, but he was a key component in the dominating rushing attack while at OU. He always more than made up for his mistakes.

O-line did well both weeks... last week for the run game and today for the pass protection although Landry did a better job with his pocket presence and trusted his line more.

Bigger issue was that Florida State's d-line was definitely soft.
