You would be surprised what some of those big time farmers pull in. I have been on some farms in the midwest with a couple million dollars worth of tractors sitting in the giant barns, 5-6 million bucks worth of farmland, and tons of cars, silos, extra land. Some of them make bank.

BTW, that Lotus isn't that expensive. They tend to start around $79K, which is comparable to a lot of Mercedes, BMWs, Land Rovers, etc.

That John Deere combine is probably in the $250K range.
