Tut tut, Tarheels. You think your highly regarded recruits would show up to your campus if they were football and not basketball players if something weren't afoot?

"my presence is a distraction".

very odd statement. are we to read between the lines and assume an admission of guilt in some way?

^^^ This!!! They may get USC type sanctions, especially if a coach was involved. NC football.. goodbye.

Rotten coach. But he is a former Sooner. So I can't hate on the guy too much.

the dude almost single-handedly destroyed our program and it looks like he's done even worse to NC.

Yeah, but he's a former Sooner. You can't turn your backs on your players unless they did something bad on purpose.

so you're saying he didnt intend to break the rules when he broke the rules?

I doubt he intended to run the OU football program into the ground.

crappy head coach - yes. but I doubt it was intentional.

Agreed. I just think he couldn't help it. Recruiting got in the way of being a Head Coach.

I am not sure what this is supposed to mean but I don't think he was doing too much bball recruiting. Also, aloof means to separate yourself from a group by choice... maybe you mean afoot. UNC is a really great school with a campus that is among the nicest I have ever seen and a bball tradition that is every bit as impressive as OU footall, so I'm pretty sure that you don't have to cheat to get great players there.

That's their problem. If they want to hate him, they are welcome to it.

Didn't he destroy our recruiting records on the way out?

yeah, i'm still ill and didn't think much about what i was typing...i left out a word or two. i reworded it. the important part is the link... and the fact that he's getting another school in trouble, not ours (thank goodness)

if memory serves me correctly, not only did blake destroy the recruiting list of players he was recruiting before he left, he also played the race card as part of the reason he was fired.

Eff that. Blake's worthless. I'm very unsurprised about this news.

Blake did destroy OU on purpose. He purposely stayed more than one year when he had to know that he sucked and was getting worse.
