Does anyone recall OU playing the Crickets ?

I have a buddy in Bartlesville who swears he remebers a game OU played (he thinks osu in Stillwater) where the feild was covered with crickets.I don't personally recall such a game against anybody under those circumstances but I was curious if anyone else does?

Not sure if it was the OU game, but Stilly has had some cricket plagues.

I don't think they were crickets. John Blake regularly would get excited and spill his milk duds sometimes.

I do remember that game. Can't remember who and when it was, but the crickets were all over the field and stands. Made for some interesting nachos that evening.
