With last nights 218 yard performance Demarco is now in 13th place all-time on OUs rushing list with 2689 yards.
Demarco is now 221 yards from the Top 10, 1294 yards from the Top 5, and 1429 yards from #1 all time :D
Also, he is now #8 all time with 37 rushing TDs, he needs 4 more to move into the top 5 all time and 20 more to move to #1

Yea, he has had a quietly really good career, hopefully when its over it will be considered great. I will keep this updated throughout the season
I love this idea. Here are some other Demarco stats, remembering of course that his personal season record is 1,002 yards, he needs 1,647 total to beat Billy Sim's all-time rushing record, and 1,925 (this season, mind you) total to beat AD's single season record.
OU single season: 1,707 to go.
OU career: 1,429 to go.
Personal best season: 784 to go.

I love this idea. Here are some other Demarco stats, remembering of course that his personal season record is 1,002 yards, he needs 1,647 total to beat Billy Sim's all-time rushing record, and 1,925 (this season, mind you) total to beat AD's single season record.

Yes, and the single-season record is AD's. I put up how many yards he has to go for personal best, OU single-season best and OU career best. Was my math fuzzy or something?

I was confused on this for a moment, too. I think the source of the confusion was that you used a "to go" figure in one place and a "from the start of the year" figure in another. 1429 (to go) + 218 (so far) = 1647 (from the start of the year).

I am not sure Demarco can top this. Dude was gassed by the end of that game, but perhaps a little less hard-fought yards (like the fourth down conversion) and few more big yard dashes would get him up there?

DeMarco needs only 11 TDs to break the TD scoring record (ALL-Purpose) as he now has 37 rushing TDs,8 receiving Tds,2 TDs on KO returns.
My biggest concern is will DM survive the season with 35 carries a game? Add to that the fact is again on KO duty and is normally a prime reciever and I fear for his health.
If he runs the rest of the season as hard as he did yesterday, and with as much heart, without getting injured, I think he'll have a legitimate shot at the Heisman. But it's a long season, so we'll see.

It's gonna be tough if he has to keep carrying the whole team on his back . . . , just sayin'. ;)

Hopefully we have some depth there. Madu has never seemed like a playmaker.

I'm pretty sure the game was over when he had his long run. And, no one was cheering louder than me when he broke it off on chase and the rest of the clowns at Mizzou.
He seems like he has some flashes of really great game speed but there has been no consistent play-maker ability there. I don't hate the dude or anything silly like that I just think there is a reason he never got out from behind Chris Brown. If Miller is healthy I think we'd see more of him on the field than Madu.

Demarco now is # 3 all time at OU in all purpose yards with 5020. He is currently behind Q at 5275 and Lil Joe at 5881. Safe to say that he will likely pass both this year

Demarco is now #7 in Big 12 history with 49 total TDsDemarco now has 52 career TDs.He came into this season with 35 rushing TDs,8 recieving Tds,2 TDs on KOR for a total of 45.Thus far in his senior year (after 3 games) Murray has 6 rushing,1recieving TD for a total of 52 TDs scored.Needs only 6 TDs to pass Owens for carerr TDs.

With 110 yards tonight, Demarco now has 2839 yards in his career and remains in 11th place all time, he is now 72 yards short of being in the top 10. Demarco also had 2 rushing TDs to put him at 41 total in his career and tied for 5th all time with AD. Demarco needs 1 more to be tied with Chris Brown for 4th all time at OU.
With 67 unimpressive rushing yards tonight, Demarco now has 2906 rushing yards for his career. That keeps him at #11 but he will almost definitely move up to atleast #9 next game.
With 1 rushing TD tonight Demarco now has 42 for his career which places him in a tie for 4th all time at OU. He needs 2 to tie for 3rd, 11 to tie for 2nd, and 15 to tie for 1st all time.

Demarco now has 3,382 career rushing yards, he is still in 7th place All Time. He only needs 22 yards to move into 6th place All Time. It is doubtful he will get any higher unless he has a couple of big games down the stretch

I noticed that too. Great hustle and DM got a solid chop on the ball before the guy crossed the goal line. Too bad he didn't fumble.
