I liked last year's Pro Combat uni better. That old-style helmet with the "F" is way colder than the stupid script "Gators". *jordan shrug*

I've never understood why they don't ditch the dumb cursive writing and put a cool looking gator on the side of their helmet. I know, I know, the tradition. I just think their current helmet with cursive is kind of lame.

I know they have tweaked OU unis last year and I really did not like them...I like what OU has.. I know there have been minor changes but OU has never tricked it up that's what I want to avoid. The throwbacks were OK.. but thats just one game.

Completely agree. In fact, I always thought the old block F from the white helmet days was better than their current one. Cursive writing on a football helmet just seems very high schoolish to me.

Edit: Doh! I just realized I basically said the same thing Bri did in the second post.

I guess it's just me, but I'm tired of seeing UF stuff.

Most kids can't even write in cursive anymore, a lot of schools don't teach it.

Sure this is already out somewhere on the board, but it the Nike Pro Combat site for all the teams they are working with this year.

I like what they did with Pitt, Oregon State, and Alabama, and I think they did a better job with TCU's version this year than last year.
