Don't even get me started on the fact that professional journalists should, at the very least, have some concept of 5th grade English. I just finished reading the DO assesment of T.Boone State and had to laugh.They have oSu scoring 34 or more points NINE times this year and finishing 8-4.I'm not sure where that offensive firepower is ,they have to replace 4 OL,their QB has only 1 game under his belt, they have no standout WR or TE, add to that their D,which was decent last year,has to replace NINE starters.Granted the Pukes have a marshmellow soft noncon but I just don't see more than 7 wins.

Trotter doesn't seem to have much faith in the defense. ESPiN is actually saying we could have the best linebacking core in college football this year. Not meaning to homer, but I think our D will be better that Trotter thinks.

I got the feeling he was trying too hard not to sound like a homer, so he was overly critical in a couple areas. I'm sorry, but any Dline with Beal, Alexander, Taylor (he will be back at some point) and Macfarland is worth a better grade than he gave.

weeden looks good, actually, and he's one of those 26 year old ex-minor leaguers that usually can step into a game and not get too rattled... maturity and all. they just dont have the personell to run holgerson's offense yet. couple more years i'll get concerned.
