So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

Break it down with nurses in place of doctors. It is the nurses that are actively carrying out the doctors orders... Their death tallies are probably more alarming.

As a conservative on the board, do I really have to point out the simple reason as to why this is a flawed comparison?

It's like saying therapy creates children with antisocial behavior without even accounting for the propensity scores.

If it helps, I don't think guns should be banned, but I do believe we need to provide RATIONAL arguments if we are trying to support a cause.
