Texas is trying to bump up that non conference with the idea that the conference now is a little weakened..good for them

at the rate they're going, however, usc might be similar SMU in the mid 80's - non-existent.

I'm sure the spin by the fans and the media today will be, like it was with the home-and-home against Notre Dame, that USC needed Texas for its own strength of schedule.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe not SMU bad, but OU '94-'98 bad. It wasn't that long ago USC was mediocre as it is, '02 they turned it around.

We may all be in the same conference by then. ;)
Starting as soon as next year and for a few after that would be a good time to get them on the schedule, maybe get a game or two back from them . . .
