On monday my lovely wife gave birth to a beautiful, healthy, baby girl. She is awesome. That is all.

Oh, except that I think she may already be smarter than half of you. ;) I am totally unbiased in that opinion.

Congrats Ike. Take a look at those tiny little hands and realize that she is about to wrap a fully grown man around that tiny little finger. Amazing how they do that.

Now cough up the details!! Sheesh, men. "My wife had a baby girl!" You can't just stop there!! How much did she weigh? How was the delivery? How's your wife doing? Etc., etc., etc.;) :D

Based on observation to date, I don't think that's an unwarranted conclusion.

At 8 lbs, 8 oz, she's a small one (comparatively...our son was 9,4). She is 20.5 inches long too (also small compared to our son). The delivery, well, we are just glad it's over. Epidural didn't kick in until about 3 minutes before she was holding her in her arms. It went rather quickly.

Caitlyn still only weighs 6lbs 8 ounces and shes 3 weeks old
