at 45:1 odds

the site has already fixed it tho. i got mine in

the real odds are 4.5:1

i risked 50 bucks to win $2,250.

if i would have waited and took the correct odds of 4.5:1

if i risked 50, i would only win $225

u can't pass on that kind of a vegas screw up

Wow, that's almost a home game for VT. Incredible that they have Boise favored.

Damn, I'm ready for the Boise kool aid to run dry.

This is all stemming from ESPN deeming this team the 2010 darling. With a loss to VT, they will lose all credibility!

That's about right. I'd take VT on that one: at home and disrespected. Nice combo.
LSU by 1? Whadupwitdat?

Boise State has one team to prepare for all year, and that's VT. Do not underestimate them.

Does everyone forget how many people from that team that beat us got drafted? They have talent.

But....but....what about Orygone??? :D

Edit: I mean Orygone State. I hear they have some really violent linemen up there.

I saw the boise/VT line and my jaw literally dropped bc boise was favored. But as all of us who bet have seen, if the line looks too good to be true.....most likely it is. I hope it's just the espin pump up that's doing it to the line. Either way, I'm laying $150 on VT and MAY buy the .5 bc it will be a close game.

I really like LSU at a virtual PICK, may throw them in a 3 team paraly. JLEW is probably right on Oregon St jumping and if it does go to -14, I'm all over the dog.

I have a feeling LSU doesn't score 10 and looses and Bosie is going to bring all the goods to beat VT. Trick plays and all

I wouldn't be so sure on that Bosie Game and LSU looked bad in spring...

The combination of Boise always playing well at the beginning of the year and VA Tech tanking early keeps me leaning towards Boise escaping with a win.

Exactly. When was the last time VT has looked good early?

VT will be ok as long as they don't break their Tyrod.

CaliBornSoonerBred

I really think this VT game will be very close and think it will be a field goal game just as Vegas has it set and buying that .5 with the dog is what I'm hoping is the win. Beamer Ball and Boise on the road just makes me think this will be a low scoring game so I also like the under.

You guys realize it's about a 5 hour drive from Blacksburg to Fed Ex field right? Not exactly playing in the confines of their hillbilly little stadium. I would NOT jump on that one too fast.

Well yeah but its the first game, so hopefully Oklahoma is fully prepared for Ute-tah State.

When was the last time Boise State played a game east of the Mississippi? If ever?

It seems like 99% of their games are west of the rockies. It's time for them to step out of their comfort zone and play a meaningful road game.

I know they went to Georgia about 4-5 years ago. Got their butts handed to them too.

Boise is also returning 20-21 starters, depending how you count.

I'd take the Huskies and the points. BYU at home but they still haven't decided on a QB starter, and they lost their top running back to the supplemental draft and top TE receiver to draft. Lots of other distractions in the off-season we've all heard about. Even at 5-7 last year the Huskies were 7-5 ATS, and improved markedly from an awful 2008 (which included a 1-point loss to BYU thanks in part to a controversial penalty on Locker), closing the 2009 season with big-margin wins over WSU and Cal.

Don't be surprised if Utah State keeps the OU game close for the first half. I don't think they can more than 2Qs due to the talent disparity, but Gary Andersen is a great defensive strategist and has all summer to prep for this game; would not be surprised to see some wrinkles thrown in. Wouldn't touch the spread on the final score though, 'cuz who knows what'll happen once the floodgates open.

Yea, I bet the LSU/UNC line goes to LSU -7 or maybe -10 before mid-week.
