Well, two of USU's WAC conference-mates just bolted to the Mountain West Conference after BYU was making back-room deals with Utah State and others to go independent in football by joining the WAC in non-football sports. This leaves just 6 football schools in the WAC for 2011, and BYU is likely going to leave USU hanging high-and-dry after USU turned down a similar invite to the MWC out of loyalty to BYU and its WAC brethern (huh??, why??).

But not all is bad news in Logan, Utah as USU is still going ahead with its plans to phase-out their married-student housing trailer park! Woot!
