I think the first part was good...for the first game and the first game only. I'm assuming that their plan is to have each game video reflect the here and now. The here and now for last night was the first game, the moment were all the hard offseason work pays off (although, for us not really). I have a hunch the FSU you game video will have a different start.

Yknow, forget the idea that I posted. Just use this idea for a mid-game video.

Sometime during the game, the crowd is going to be dead quiet and dead bored to the point of wanting to do 20 laps of The Wave around the stadium. That is when you have cut to a quick video of Billy Sims staring silently out of Soonervision for a few seconds, then all of the sudden --- "BOOMER!"

Then, all 85k yell "Sooner" ...the ones that aren't laughing and applauding the great Boomer Billy :D

I saw the video in person and it looks very good on the South Endzone board. I liked the addition of jump around... I would have jumped around a lot more if I wasn't surrounded by old people that couldn't jump :D

If there was a way for the athletics department to make the video take up the entire north endzone screen so that it could be visible from the south endzone (I had this issue last year as well) instead of making it tinier to fit the entire picture in, that would be awesome... like, however they make widescreen movies fit into standard def televisions back in the day - yeah, you might have to cut part of the picture, but as it is now, you really can't see the video very well unless you're close to the north endzone screen. Do it justice! Let everyone in the stadium see it!

And if anyone has any lingering complaints, just be glad you don't dress in orange and are subjected to this:

Yeah, people can turn around in the south endzone, but when you're that close to a high def screen it can be kind of overwhelming. One of NP's friends had like a 72 inch 1080 in his tiny apartment... couch was like five feet away from the screen... my eyes couldn't handle that, and it was about the same with the big screen in the south endzone while sitting in the south endzone.

Plus... it's never safe to turn your back to the field... that's when you miss something cool :(

I may put "It's time" in second, but IMO the "House that Bud Built" is far and away the best. They're all great, but that one is straight and to the point. . list how many all americans, how many conf titles, national titles, etc, and let the team come out. It's Oklahoma, we don't need anything else.

I just went back and spent way too much time watching several intro videos from the last few years. Our intros are awesome. Good job bri and everyone else who works on them.

And, I would note, at least we don't have animatronic-looking cows running in the middle of ours. That, at one time, shot fake looking lightening bolts. :D
