Democrats are godless heathens, I know that, but Darwin seems to be the closest thing to a God they have. So, my question is, do you think Democrats are doing what he would have done? Scientific method and what not.

I thought I read somewhere that Darwin believed in God as well - He thought that evolution, natural selection, ect... were God at work.
But to answer the question - most of the democrats I know believe in God - It is very, very blind form of faith - but faith none the less . Personally I believe in God as well - but some of the smartest, well read, most charitable, loving people I know are atheist.
