The only thing from the USSR that caught on in the rest of the world is Tetris. Yes, Tetris...that's the Soviet Union's only lasting contribution to humanity.

The only thing from the USSR that caught on in the rest of the world is Tetris. Yes, Tetris...that's the Soviet Union's only lasting contribution to humanity.

And don't forget Stolichnaya. It could be questioned whether Stoli is truly a lasting contribution, though, since Russian Standard is more and more widely seen as the "authentic" Russian vodka.
