The Holiday Bowl against Oregon was the first game I've seen live since I moved away from Oklahoma, and when the Pride played "Boomer Sooner," I not only got goosebumps, I teared up.

And I don't mind admitting it.

As for Boomer Sooner, I love it when the band plays it right before they march off the field pre-game at Owen Field. Doesn't get any better than that. :)

The daily temp in SD varies depending on what part of SD you're talking about. The coast is generally about 10 degrees cooler than inland, and I live in between, and the temps where I live have been in the upper 80s the last couple of days after the coolest summer on record in about 100 years.

I know what kind of heat Oklahoma has been having so before anyone scoffs, please try to imagine what 88 feels like with 50% or more humidity and no air conditioning.

And now that you mention it, I do seem to recall that the Pride playing "Boomer Sooner" while marching off the field pre-game was what moved me to tears at Qualcomm.
