Correct that Broyles redshirted.

He didn't play in the first game of his 2nd year. He was being punished for an undisclosed violation.

I don't know if he started against Cincinnati or not, but he did have 58 receiving yards and a TD on the opening drive!

Broyles was 3rd WR, started a few games, as a 2nd year frosh. Manny missed a bit of time that year with an elbow.

regardless if they started the first game or any after that, they still played as a frosh. I think that is what matters. And yes, I think Stills will get plenty of PT even if he doesn't start.

Skills is a legit 4.4 Forty - he will be our Deep Threat this year. One thing I noticed about his stats out of highschool compared to some of the other big ath we recruit at the position - is he has been having 1000 yard recieving for the last 3 years since he was a sophmore compared to like 450 yards or 600 yards - he seems like a real polished reciever (routes, hands) - same with brennan Clay - kind of like Murray out of school catching is second nature.

After the deal in Dallas last year I promised myself not to get overhyped for the season. But, the idea of having someone who can catch a pass is doing it for me. Now, about those 43 false start penalties in the first quarter...
