is in good hands. I give you Boston William. Born 8/9/10. 8 lbs 13 oz, 21 1/4 inches long. A future QB for our beloved Sooners.

Congrats, we can never have enough Sooners in the world.

Whats the reasoning for the name Boston? Just curious

Just like the name actually..no connections to the city. Not a fan of Pats, Celtics, or Red Sox at all. Just a name.

Congrats ....but I have to say Norman is a MUCH better name for an OU qb if your son has to be named after a city.

That's the third "Boston" I've heard about this year. A guy at work, and a friend of my wife. Crazy. Never heard of it in 30 years prior.

Congrats!

Congratulations!

Teach him well. Once he's old enough to stand, he's old enough to throw his hands above his head and yell, "TOUCHDOWN, OKLAHOMA!"

it really will endear him to the folks in restaurants and malls down Tejas way...

GREAT advice!

I actually did this with my daughter. When she was about 4 or 5 the family was in a bar and grill in Singapore. In walked a bunch of horns who sat at the bar. I dispatched daughter to go over to their far side and begin her "TD OU" routine.
Took 'em about six reps before amusement gave way to annoyance and then to searching for the parent responsible.
To see them realize that, even on the far side of the planet, they could not escape was one of my happiest moments in my life.

Congrats! Once he gets old enough to talk and throw horns down......teach him! My cousin and I taught his son when he was 2 1/2 and we'd ask, "Layton, what you think of oklahoma state? "They stink", Layton, what you think of texas? "They stink" as he takes his little hand and throws horns down. One of the most beautiful moments of my Sooner life :D
