We're not far from this scenario here in our beloved Tulsa. Unreplaced losses of manpower through attrition, staffing changes through implementation of alternative response apparatus with no firefighting capability and insufficient manpower for initial structure fire operations, no prayer in reaching national minimum manpower standards (NFPA 1704), all leading to a worse case scenario such as this in Philadelphia.
It's a reminder of the importance of sufficient coverage and manpower in the pursuit of fire prevention and suppression. Don't accept anything less.
