I remember a summer in the early 80's when the temp hit 100 for 23 days in a row when I lived in OKC. I was working outside during most of that stretch, you get used to it.

that included the entire month of july.

I think that's the stretch I was talking about. I thought it was in 81 but like you say, that was 30 years ago. :D

Momma will be spending the afternoon/evening here in a couple hours on an open-cab tractor raking hay. I will be suffering in the new John Deere with A/C, and Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire on the CD baling said hay. I know it's tough, but it's gotta be done...
