The latest proof of Tim Tebow’s insane popularity is that a special edition of a shoe produced by Nike reportedly sold out within minutes Friday morning on Nike’s online store. There were 500 pairs of the shoes put for sale. The shoes went on sale at 1:50 a.m. as a play off of Tebow’s No. 15. He wore it at Florida and he is wearing it with the Denver Broncos. Denver drafted Tebow at No. 25 in April.
The shoes are blue and orange and feature Tebow’s famous “promise" after a loss in September, 2008. Tebow went on to lead Florida to the national championship after the speech. It is part of Florida football history and has played a major role in Tebow’s lore.
Nike is about to take advantage of that further by releasing:”Tebow Knows” T-shirts. The slogan is a play off the famous “Bo Knows” ad campaign several years ago featuring football/baseball star Bo Jackson.
:rolleyes: Shirts too! And I live in Denver oh GOD!! Please not anymore!!! Hopefully the Rams will play Denver and Sammy can kick their arse!!
