I'm going to go with 87% more awesome.About 50%. The Iggles DID have a few good songs without Walsh.

At last year's Trans Siberian Orchestra sold out concert in Tampa, he appeared with them for the last hour of their..."rock encore".

It brought the house down. Bunch of us old rockers in that crowd. We stood up with our walkers and canes and tried to flick our out-of-fluid lighters.

Uh, Rocky Mountain Way, The Confessor, Turn to Stone, and a bunch of James Gang stuff was NOT crap.

That being said, he does make the band better, but the Eagles stood/stand on their own fine without Walsh.

You do realize that "Eagles Greatest Hits Vol. 1" is the highest selling album in the history of our country, correct? You do realize that those songs were written, produced and recorded before Joe Walsh joined the band, correct?

Decent country band. Good grief. And I don't even like the Eagles all that much, but comments that wrong, that ludicrous, that absurd, simply cannot be allowed to pass through my life unchecked.

Rocky Mountain Way, Confessor, not bad.

The rest was crap and kind of depressing in a Joe Walsh sorta way.

You do realize that "Eagles Greatest Hits Vol. 1" is the highest selling album in the history of our country, correct? You should be reminded that Barak Obama got elected President, too. I don't mean to come down that hard on the Eagles, but remember Air Supply even sold a lot of their "music".
