I miss Big Ed's. Back when he was still alive and his joint was a dump in Del City.

And his burgers were still good.

This is why I was asking about great places to eat. I like food. All kinds, sports bar food included.

There was still a Big Ed's open at NW 122nd & Penn last year. There's a review on UrbanSpoon (http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/46/500101/restaurant/Quail-Springs/Big-Eds-Hamburgers-Oklahoma-City) from July 29 of this year.

Wasn't there a Big Ed's in a strip mall in East Norman a while back?

One on the east side of Norman at 12th and Lindsey and one on the west side in Brookhaven Square.

Good burgers and greasy fries. I was in one of their tv commercials.

It made OKC look like a truckstop. I was disappointed.

To be fair, anything along the highway in OKC really DOES look like a truckstop. You really have to get away from that stuff to find a culture in that city.

Well, you can see Bricktown from the Highway. All the skyline shots were from El Reno or something.

Every national tv program showing OKC or even Oklahoma for that matter makes us look like a bunch of F'n hillbillies.
