Awesome. 157,926 donks actually voted for this guy to run against Coburn.

I'm a registered democrat since down here in southeast Oklahoma if you aren't, you don't get any opportunities to vote for anything local if your a registered repub..

Anyway I voted for him for my own comic relief...sorry dems

This is almost as ridiculous as a George W. Bush presidential candidacy.

You know the dims are in bad shape here when they actually nominate a communist/make believe college professor.

I wonder if Dr. Tom will even bother to campaign against Comrad Santa???

You guys are lucky to have Coburn. He is the best Senator in the Senate. Hopefully Rubio will join up with him soon.

I just saw a Tom Coburn ad. I'm surprised he wasted money on it. BTW it's the first one I've seen.

Since you're all so interested in this race, the most recent poll has Coburn with 70 percent of the vote. Coburn also reportedly donated $1 million of his campaign funds toward getting GOP senators re-elected. I think he was in the news lately for something else, but I'm not sure... probably confusing him with the guy that lands his plane wherever he wants to in Texas. Next time, land it at DKR's 50-yard line! :D

Seriously though, any money Coburn spends on campaigning is wasted. Jim Rogers runs for everything and only gets a few votes here and there out of defiance to the other candidate and his last name.

Jim Rogers lives in a...umm..."downrent" apartment in Midwest City. He doesn't have a car, and apparently has no job. He accepts no campaign donations and doesn't actually campaign, save for occasionally standing on a street corner in MWC with a homemade, handpainted, upside down sign.

Yet there were robocalls made on Rogers behalf during the Democratic primary. Wonder who paid for those?
