My wife has come arond and finall ystarted to wear her ou shirt that was bought for her last year. In fact she now had me call the folks back in Oklahoma and tell them to send her a Crimson OU shirt. My wife is not a football fan and she didn't car about OU. I guess putting on that OU sticker on her car helped ease her into it. We were going to go to the OU vs Buffs game next year but not sure that will happen now. :mad: Anyway, she was looking foward to the game. I think actually excited. So was I it would have been the first chance to see the sooners live "EVER"!! :mad:

On a secondary note the dog now gets excited when he hears Boomer Sooner! In a dead sleep the dog will jump up when my Boomer Sooner ringtone plays and gets excited. Any other ringtone he is snoring away but Boomer Sooner plays he knows who to kiss up to!

Damn Bro. I live in the lowly swamps of Southern Louisiana and I STILL found a way to make to the 08 Tech game. Where's your spirit?;)

Amazing how we're punished for sneezing on the other end of the house during her Desperate Housewives, sleeping through chick flicks and the like... but my GAWD-- WHY ARE WE SO INTO FOOTBALL?!? WHY AREN'T WE LISTENING TO HER!?!

Funny how that works, ain't it? :D

My wife hides in the bedroom and reads when the game's on. Not sure how she pulls it off with all the noise though.

Anywho Back in the very early 80s , I couldnt get my Kids Mama to watch a Game with me or even listen on the Radio
So I got 2 RRW tickest and was fixing to axe a friend to go with me
She pops off sayin I need to take her :eek: :mad:
I tell her Hell NO i aint wasitin OU/saxet ticket on her
any way we go :O Marcus Dupree Breaks His last (I think ) Long TD run fer the Sooners . I know hes running Free so I watch HER , Hell shes Yelling and screamin and going nuts .
Get home and the bitch never watches a game with me :mad:

My wife grew up a Washington Huskies fan (grew up near seattle) but she has been a Sooner fan from the words "I do" we have lived in Scottsdale for 12 years, and we are currently in the process of moving to OKC. Dreams do come true. :)

My gf (of 2 years) didnt give a shizz about football til she met me.

Now she begs to go to any game, and she really wants to go to the RRS with me (but ofcourse, thats guys only ;) )

My wife is like this. I took her to a game in '99. She had her fun but will not have anything to do with a game outside of that stadium and acts like she absolutely resents the time I spend watching the games on TV (though she'll refuse to admit that). Just before the '08 Tech game, a friend asked me to go with him to that game. Hadn't been to a game in years so I jumped on it. She was pissed off that I didn't take her... so pissed off that it was all I heard for months. :(
