I am looking to expand my cooking abilities and I like Greek food, but it seems like it would be harder to master than some. Any insight on this?

I don't know. I love gyros though.

I have no expertise in cooking lamb, but I frequently make greek salads. They are great and relatively easy. Here's one example:

I love gyros as well, but I've never tried to make one myself.

When you cook a Greek there is often a lot more hair removal, otherwise similar to a turkey. (not Turk, they have hair too.)

How hard could it be? Simple fare. Meat, bread, grape leaves, olive oil, potatoes.

you must increase the number of syllables in any recipe by a factor of 5.

also, multiple k's must be used.

How do you seperate the men from the boys in Greece?

With a crowbar...

No clue on greek cooking, but I do like me some gyros and ka-bobs.

Apart from some out of the ordinary spices and ingredients, it should be really basic. I just feel like everyone will tell you your produce and spices have to be regional. Cooking chops is the only experience I have with lamb. I would love to know how they make the lamb for gyros.
