this from another OU fans' message board:

Has anyone heard of this new word? Dhimmitude?
http://www.dhimmitude.org/

Amish and other religious groups may be exempt from forced purchase of
healthcare policies under Obama care. You know what other groups this
could include???Muslims and Christian Scientists may be exempt from
having to have government healthcare. http://wwrn.org/articles/33089/

Unbelievable

I had my doubts so I checked with Snopes. There is an exemption for
"certain religious groups" in the Health Care Bill. Obama supporters
check it out your self.

Had never heard the word Dhimmitude until now---Type it into Google and
start reading, Pretty interesting. Note that Muslims and certain other
religions are exempt from the Obamacare penalties and it is supported by
law. We are surrendering from within! The prez is leading us right
down the path to total Muslim control and you don't care! Maybe you
voted for him but now the truth comes out. Maybe you should rethink
what you have done.

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-muslim populations
conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-muslims
in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of
converting conquered remnants to islam.

The ObamaCare bill is the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia muslim
diktat in the United States . Muslims may be specifically exempted from
the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty
tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling",
"risk-taking" and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims may be
specifically granted exemption based on this. How convenient. So I John
Smith, as a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all
of my assets, including real estate, cattle, cars and etc. and even
accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to
buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will
have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by
the de facto government insurance at our expence. Non-muslims will be
paying a tax to subsidize muslims Period. This is Dhimmitude.

Dhimmitude serves two purposes: it enriches the muslim masters AND
serves to drive conversions to islam. In this case, the incentive to
convert to islam will be taken up by those in the inner-cities as well
as the godless Generation X, Y and Z types who have no moral anchor or
belief in God! If you don't believe in Christ to begin with, it is no
problem whatsoever to sell Him for 30 pieces of silver. "Sure, I'll be a
muslim if it means free health insurance and no taxes. Where do I sign,
brother?" Now all you Obama voters get in line for your free
stuff!...However, I suggest you don't hold your breath!...

PS Have you heard about the summit Obama is holding this month in DC for
the future Muslim business leaders in the US?
http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown/...ip-summit.html
He wants to increase their ability to begin business opportunities in
the US for the Muslim community!

It is quite clear that Obama is Muslim friendly. He described the call to prayer as one of the most beautiful sounds known to mankind.

The original post may be a bit far but under no circumstances should our government make exceptions for Muslims, attempt to help Muslims or attrack Muslims. The left amazes me because they will gladly help Muslims and actually defenda Islam while they seem to despise Christianity and the Jewish faith.

Truth.

Halibut doesn't need a whole lot done to it.

If you can, make sure the cut is from a smaller fish (35-55lbs). The smaller "chickens" have firmer flesh and taste better than the older beasts (they'll run about 150-200lbs).

Halibut's good, but redfish is the best, bar none. Especially with a little meuniere sauce over it.

It really is a shame. My mother lives in Louisiana and vacations every year along the gulf coast right where the oil is washing ashore. I guess the positive would be that she doesn't really swim, and the price is going to be basement-level. But the seafood is going to be non-existent.

I really like pomegranate. I've used it in place of cranberries in some dishes, but you have to be careful about the seeds. You can strain them out if you just want the flavor, but for salads and fresher dishes, it's nice to get the pop of a whole "berry".

Anyone seen that special on I think it was Discovery Channel about the factory trawlers? The huge ships that catch and completely process the fish they catch on board and send them out prepped into frozen fish patties? One ship processes something like 95% of the fillets for the fillet o' fish sammiches. Pretty cool to watch.

Man, I've gotten some real good peaches this year. This is the best crop I can remember in years. Very sweet and juicy.

Peaches come from a man -- they were put there by a man.

So, the solidrity among the posting Leftist Twits is that a post on food or fish(except for my posts) is a vote for Dhimmitude?

"Dhimmitude" sounds kinda like "dim," which sounds kinda like "dem," which is short for "democrat." Coincidence? I think not.

You know what recent food craze makes the least sense to me? Pomegranate.

Other than poppies, pomegranates are Afghanistan's leading produce export. The administration is encouraging pomegranate consumption to hopefully encourage Afghans to plow their poppy fields under and grow poms. Not bloody likely IMHO, but there it is.

I think we can and will hop, skip and jump over Dhimmitude and go directly to Dharmatude. This idea of righteous living of the Buddhists and Hindus in China and India will take over the world, well at least in economic terms.
