This is an interesting? view into how no matter how pathetically the Democrat politicians treat the American people, there remains a segment of people, even some who are well-educated, who don't pay attention. I'm not in the mood for that game. Anything I mention in this climate would be viewed as mainstream by half the people and extreme by the other half. Even worse, centrist view is seen as WAY out there by both sides. Getting deeper into this conversation is a trap and guarantees that I'd be crucified by lefties and righties alike. Precisely the problem that occurs in Washington.

Just be glad I think both sides are being ridiculous over the last 10-20 years, and it's been worse the last few years than I've ever seen it. I could be in here blindly claiming that the left has all the answers, which obviously they don't. Just like the right.

Good jorb ;)When someone talks about "extremists on the right", I believe most of them have in mind a group forcing Christian morals on the populace, some way, like the left has now forced their socialism ideas on the people. When lefties are asked to explain what is meant by "right wing extremism", they usually sputter and stammer when giving an answer. Cru is using the moral equivalency approach, as he always does.

I merely refuse to believe that anyone far enough into their political philosophy to believe there is no compromising on anything and that the other side are ALL wrong is bringing anything useful to the table. Total refusal to cooperate or respect your opponent is asking for total failure and constant fighting.

They almost ALWAYS tow the(corrupt and socialist) party line when they get to congress or work in state govt.

The only exceptions are when they know they have enough disgraceful votes to spare on an issue, and allow some of their members from conservative states to vote conservatively, for political cover.

Unfortunately, republicans in the past going out of their way to appease the democrats has cost this county dearly.

I refuse to understand how the state re-education facility for dissidents continues to allow those people access to the internet.
