Hogan smoked the 1-iron to the green and two-putted for par to get into the playoff.

Which bunker did your approach find? Right or left? :)

i pulled my drive - from the back tees, and made it just past his spot. 8 -iron into the green. slightly different technology.

there is one more set of tees farther back (for championships - US Open, Amateur, Wlaker Cup), but only about 15 yards. don't know if that was there back in Hogan's day.
