Fishing, either saltwater or fresh. Hunting in the fall. Widest, prettiest beaches on the East Coast. More historic stuff than you can shake a stick at. Wild night life for the young folks. Superb dining. Killer hotels*.

In summary, its the closest thing to perfect as an vacation destination in North America.
