What a sweet monster Oakmont is. That may be my favorite place.

Oakmont is a whole diff creature than they are used to playing....i'd guess.

there's no bailout spots at the O like those 20 under wins it goofball corporate tracks with nifty water features that look good from Snoopy 2 and the "go for it" par 5 18th both tours usually play.

The greens are nuts, but everything else at Oakmont is right there in front of you. It just beats your brains in from the first tee onward. Now that all the trees are gone (by the thousands) it's greatness really shines. That tough, old brute.

Over/under for Creamer today should be about 75. Whaddya say?

King Crimson sticks it about 10 feet above the hole on 18 at the OC. drains it, for a ho hum 44 out 38 in (with a one putt double on the road hole).

Oh golf...can you tell how interested I was. Del doesn't do golf or tennis.

I thought she'd shoot around 75. She's tanked weekend rounds at the US Open before. To shoot 69 at Oakmont with a jacked up thumb takes some guts.

Good for her, but they took some teeth out of the back nine today. 229 yard par-4 at 17? C'mon!

We followed her in Tulsa last summer. She can definitely play.
