Got a 1993 Ford Taurus that my Father gave us. It's been a good free car and still runs. If you are mechancially inclined you could to a little repair on it and have a good dependable car for 2-3 years. It has a new transmission in it, the engine has 105,000 on it but it still runs well and the A/C blows cold. New Battery, Alternator, Windshield and driver's side glass (car got broken into last year :( ), New brakes and rotors front and back, new radiator, new hoses and new thermostat.
The old car has been taken good care of but is in need of a CV joint and a tierod end on the drivers side as Dad got into the wall with it on the expressway. It's still driveable but like I said it has some problems.
