Here’s a political ad for Pamela Gorman, an Arizona state senator who resigned her position in order to run for the House of Representatives. And while Dale Peterson might talk tough and wield a rifle, Pamela is all about firearms, as she demonstrates her proficiency with a tommy gun, an M4 carbine, and different pistols. That seems to be the main message here: “Hey voters, this broad shoots guns! And she don’t take kindly to taxes, neither.”

I tend to agree with Democrats most of the time (they’re much more lax on anti-sodomy laws), but I have to say, Republican ads are way more awesome. Ads for Democrats are always cramming minorities into the picture and boring me with stuff about schools and teachers and improving “education” — whatever that are.

Despite the crazy and militant rhetoric of fear, it's still a fun watch. It's really funny when the dude starts singing at the end. Plus, it has the obligatory use of Washington and Lincoln to build ethos!

The Repubs just no that EVERYONE is for education. The dems are against hawt chicks and guns. And of course they're against anti-sodomy laws. They're always trying to bend us over.

Yep, this is exactly what I was thinking when I saw this thread. He must think he has the general election wrapped up, or something. I don't see how playing republican can possibly not come back to hurt him there.

Yep, this is exactly what I was thinking when I saw this thread. He must think he has the general election wrapped up, or something. I don't see how playing republican can possibly not come back to hurt him there.

His district is the most blue in the state... but then again, this was a state that was entirely red when it comes to Obama or McCain.

I didn't post that link as a Boren bashing or whatever, I just thought that ad was extremely funny... it's like I'm Dan Boren, and I approve this GUNNNN!

"My opponent Kim Holland was an Obama delegate at the DNC convention. I just feel my fellow Oklahoman's need to know that. Vote Doak for Insurance Commissioner."

Elegantly simple, yet potentially very effective IMHO.

I vote for those most likely to stand up to the anti-gun establishment. (Actually, I vote straight Republican tickets in almost every case.)
