We are definitely loading up on TEs! We should be set for a few years at TE/FB (which is virtually the same in OUr system) with Ikard, Heywood, Johnson, Musil, Millard, Max Stephenson, and now this guy.

OU picks up commitment from 4-star tight end

NORMAN -- Oklahoma continued to restock the tight end position Tuesday when multiple recruiting services reported the addition of Dan Tapko.
Rated the No. 13 high school tight end nationally by Rivals.com, Tapko gave OU his verbal commitment over the likes of Nebraska, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Kansas and Missouri. He has also been a starting defensive end for Kansas City Rockhurst, though he projects as a college tight end. Tapko told SoonerScoop.com he observed the tight ends’ film session while making his latest recruiting visit to OU.
Tapko, listed between 6-4 and 6-5 and between 220 and 235 pounds, is the second tight end to pledge to the Sooners. The other is Max Stevenson from Klein Oak High in Spring, Texas.

OU welcomes two freshman tight ends to the program this fall in Austin Haywood and Trey Millard. Haywood was rated the No. 7 tight end nationally by Rivals and Scout.com at Southmoore.
