Poor Adrian. He must be more sick of Favre in a purple jersey than I am.

I wouldn't worry too much about AD. Resting your head on a pillow stuffed with money helps soothe the pains.

Speaking of the kiddos, the annual "get autographs from your favorite players" event, aka "Meet the Sooners Day" event, is August 6.

Sooner Kids Club members will be allowed in before the rest of us, but as there's no Heisman winners or Adrian Petersons on the roster, there will probably not be overnight camping for good spots in the line like past years.

However, OU must have been annoyed by something about the Sooner Kids Club arrangement, because you can no longer sign your kid up at the event. You can apply July 5-30.

I heard that the Sammie line last year was full of nothing but Sooner Kids Club members before they had to cap it, so that might have had something to do with the change.
