I know a bit about the oil bidness, but not much about the technology. I just thought this was an intersting read.

i don't know squat about the oil business, but it seems as though someone has forgotten to turn the valve to the "off" position.

How far inland would a sunami travel?
How many other wells will be compromised?
And to spice things up a bit,we could see T.D. Alex born in a few
days.
Mount Saint Helens type explosion UNDERWATER??
GOD HELP US ALL!

No offense Albq, but this was perhaps the worst article I have ever read ever. There are no sources for many of the claims made, and one of the claims that is sourced is sourced to:

I recently heard a recording of Richard Hoagland who was interviewed on Coast to Coast AM.

Mr. Hoagland has suggested that there are cracks in the ocean floor, and that pressure at the base of the wellhead is approximately 100,000 psi.

I had to stop right there. The mere mention of coast-to-coast AM sent my BS-o-meter through the roof.

100,000 psi?? 40,000 psi is the most i've ever seen or heard about. Regardless, that is one hell of a well BP's got there.

Read this morning that the BOP is probably going to tip over soon which will take the casing and string out with it. If that happens with that pressure down there, just nuke the mutherfucer. The gulf really will be covered in crude by the time the r-wells come in if that happens. Pray we don't have a hurricane.

Hey, I don't vouch for the veracity of the information in the article. I said I know not much about the technology. As far as Coast-to-Coast Am, I agree, and apparently so does the author of the article. All my original post said was, I found the article interesting.

I didn't post it to pizz you off, but I could care less if it does.:D

So, BP drilled a well too deep to handle and now they are drilling 2 more and that's gonna help?
