Electronic Arts Inc. announced today that Oklahoma City Thunder small forward, Kevin Durant, will be the cover athlete for NBA ELITE 11. A 2010 NBA All-Star, Durant became the youngest player in NBA history to lead the league in scoring this past season, and he helped lead the Thunder to an impressive 50 win season and an NBA Playoffs berth. NBA ELITE 11 is currently in development under the EA SPORTS™ brand by EA Canada in Vancouver, B.C. and will be available worldwide this October.

Durant is only the third player in EA SPORTS history to be featured both on the pack of an NCAA and an NBA licensed product. Durant was featured on the cover of NCAA March Madness 08.

Awesome!

It's a shame that most people agree that the 2k sports games are better however. :/

I think the 2Ksports basketball games are a little bit better than EA's basketball. Plus with the rollout of the Jordan edition 2K11 it'll definitely sell way more than the EA brand.

Jordan edition??? Haven't heard of this. Is this just so they can sell more or will he be in the game somehow?

Damn, guess I have to buy this game now for PS3 just to compliment the Gator that will be residing under my television. Although maybe if I find a better version than this, I'll print it and pop it in instead.

Both. He is on the cover....well it shows the back of his Bulls 23 Jersey. He is also supposedly an unlockable player as well, or part of some legends roster or something like that.

It will sell lots and lots of copies, and I will probably be one to buy as well.

If they release a f*cking beta version again like they did last year, Jordan himself could come with each copy of the game, and they wouldn't sell any...

Actually I'd buy the game if Michael Jordan came with it.
