View Full Version : Gas Leak At Lindsey & Jenkins
The road work on Lindsey and Jenkins has ruptured a natural gas line today; they just evacuated everyone working inside Memorial Stadium and blocked off the area. Somehow, this is all Missouri's fault.

I'm sure it was a fault in Missouri that runs down to Oklahoma through Norman that caused it. It's their fault.
Nebraska and texas are blaming each other for it.

Hope all of the athletes work hard today, lest Schmiddy make a slacker go help with the cleanup or traffic redirecting ;)

President Boren just gave the all-clear to return to campus; they finally shut it off. Crisis averted!

Better make it the practice field; Owen Field is in pretty rough shape & we've gotta get it ready for movie night Saturday. :D

The team practiced right next to the leak, while everybody else was evacuated.

Does this mean my route to Reaves Park for Monday night softball will continue to be detoured the rest of the summer?

So what's holding up BP?
(I know. I know. I am being insensitive to those who live on the Gulf Coast whose children could starve because they're out of work.)

Yes. And my simple four-block trip to the stadium becomes a ten-block voyage through the heart of campus, dodging all the cheer, football, gymnastics, basketball, soccer and softball campers milling about. Yay!
