Although Football and Mens hoops had down years, this has actually been quite a year for OU athletics. We have had quite a bit to be proud of overall...

Baseball is currently in the College World Series
Womens Hoops- 2nd straight Final 4
Mens Cross Country Finished # 12 Nationally
Mens Gymnastics Finished # 3 Nationally
Womens Gymnastics finished #2 Nationally
Softball lost in the Super Regional
Mens Tennis went to the Elite 8 for the 1st time in school history
Womens Tennis qualified for the NCAA Tourney
Womens Tn F finished a school record 9th
Wrestling Finished #3 Nationally

Thank you for reminding everyone that our spring sports have been really good even if they won't admit it. :)

I dont give a damn about most of those sports but it is still cool that we are so much better in alot of those sports

OSU uses sports like wrestling and golf to make up for their lack of football and basketball. You didn't use golf, but you did use men's gymnastics.

I wasnt using them for anything, just letting everyone know how well we have done this year.

The only sports I follow are Fball, hoops, and baseball so the other sports are just kinda there for me :D

This is basically what I deleted. Looks like I should have left my post up there.

I blamed my negativity on disappointment over the new "conference realignment" situation.

the difference is OSU has to use those other sports as a source of pride b/c their football is so seldomly good (or even mediocre)


for a season, we can be proud of the spring sports....no?

We can always be proud of them, it just so happens that this year we had a down yr in the two biggest sports
