Fans encouraged to welcome home the Sooners as they prepare for the program’s 10th College World Series appearance
NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma would like to invite all Sooner fans to welcome home the Oklahoma baseball team at L Dale Mitchell Park on Tuesday. The team is anticipated to arrive to the stadium between 12-12:30 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to enter the stadium through the main gate. The team will be introduced onto the field upon its arrival.
Code Reine hit two home runs and Bobby Shore pitched eight innings of shutout ball to lead Oklahoma to a dominating 11-0 victory over Virginia Monday night. With the win, the Sooners advance to their first College World Series since 1995 and 10th in program history. OU will meet South Carolina on Sunday, June 20, at 1 p.m. at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha.
