Looks like some people are going to loose thier jobs. The officiating crews may find jobs in the new conferences, but what is going to happen with rest of the folks?

Wonderful, a combination of Big XII and Pac X refs.

I hope they assign Bible to all the Oregon home games.

I didn't know until yesterday that Kevin Weiberg our former Big 12 Commissioner was the Deputy Commissioner of the PAC 10. Things make a little more sense.

Combining the two worse conference ref crews together should be interesting. Can they get any worse? We have been hosed by the PAC 10 and Big 12 refs once in the same year.

I'm sure they'll figure something out.

There really haven't been "Big 12 officials" for the past two seasons. They kind of merged the Big 12, Mountain West and WAC officials together in an alliance and are assigned to games in any of those conferences. That is why Bible and Cristal didn't show up on many Big 12 TV games last season.

And, not suprisingly, we saw no "ref screwings" in favor of the Texas schools in conference in the last 2 years.

What about those phantom out of bounds late hits we got on McCoy in 2008?

:D Nothing to worry about. This is a perfect opportunity for Hussein Oblowma to just do another bailout. He'll SAVE all those jobs. You just wait and see!!!

I was wondering about that. Hadn't seen Bible's overly tanned face and thought he retired.

I heard Beebe has an engineering degree, and has put together a resume to the company that makes those blowout preventers for oil rigs.

an expanded conferance will hopefully mean additional jobs in the Pac offices and maybe some of those people will be hired.

Maybe the conference will relocate it's HQ to Dallas ;)

Is Big 12 Beebe related to the Arkie governor Beebe?
