Even though there is a USA Soccer thread I feel we needed a thread about today's game coming up at 1pm. It's time to put a foot in those limey bastards asses. Time we not only kick thier *** as it's been since 1968....but it's time to kick thier *** for the limeys who think it's our job to clean up BP's spill. I think jolly ole England should be sending ships over here to help clean up BP's mess.

At least Green's goal didn't cost the three lions a Cup. ;)

Still embarrassing, though. Man, just think if Jozy had found the net on that one. I'm starting to like our chances to make a little noise if we can clean up the sloppy play.

Thanks for giving us the point, England. That was the kind of goalkeeping error 12 year old girls don't make --- it was almost Buckerian (as in Bill). Too bad Tim HOward is American, eh?

England looked like the better team, but USA can win the group if we stay sharp and Capello keeps managing with his brain turned off.

I'll be for England every game unless they play us again. But they need to play Joe Hart the rest of the way. And someone other than Misskey, er... Heskey.

I was expecting a loss and hoping for a draw, and we got the latter. Puts us in a good position.

didn't see a whole lot out of slovenia or algeria this morning but i saw enough to say if we don't advance out of this group it'll be more disappointing than 1998. especially after getting a point from the top team in your group.

Yeah, neither Slovenia nor Algeria are very good, but we're not that good yet where it's not out of the question that we could lose to one or both of them.
