Texas wouldn't do something like that in a million years. They probably travel 1000 miles a season in some years in the Big 12. They would never travel in some seasons to 4 road games adding up to 4000 miles.

So "high level sources from multiple conferences" are speaking only to local yokel KC tv guy? I'm thinking somebody's ****ing with this dude.

I can't wait until the Fort Smith, AR station breaks that UT and UTEP are joining with Guadalajara and Monterrey to create the new Old Mexico Athletic Conference.

No way OU abandons its two biggest rivals. No way Texas and A&M travel 1000s of miles each season, basically for EVERY game.

No. way.

Dammit, I've been out scooped. My journalistic career was short lived.

Hat's off to you. However you can't expect me to make rational searches when fake stories are going down. THIS IS ARMAGEDDON!!!!!!

Sure they would. Money + Big 10 academic cachet would be almost irresistible to the self-proclaimed "Harvard of the Southwest"

This just in: my barber's son's gay lover's dad, who works in a major athletic department somewhere (I can't reveal my sources) just told us that OU was going to the.....
BIG EAST!!!!!
(Castiglione gets all the lobster he can eat at Anthony's in Boston TWICE a year to seal the deal).

THIS IS TRUTH!!!
