I am going with Super West 16.

Eventually we have a Super North(Big 10 going to 16), Super South(SEC) and Super North(ACC and Big East combo).

Four super conferences of 16...some independents and also-rans...and you end up with a playoff scenario.

Still surprised what a house of cards the Big 12 was...I guess money talks.

Talk about history. The Pac-8 would not just revert to its original name, but would have the same teams as before. The Big-8 would look like quite different of course.
