I couldn't resist the urge to pull off the old "parallel bars" trick yesterday.
I don't think I have done that one since the mid 80's. good times...

Yep, I still got it at nearly the age of 43.:texan:
I always jack with my kids and their friends when they're at the house. I'll challenge them to bar-dips in the kitchen between the counters. It's pretty wide, and those narrow-assed kids sometimes get a couple, but usually just go down, and keep going down. I jump up and knock out about 20 or so. Now that I'm down to about 235 lbs., I do sets of 15 reps at the gym with a 45-pound plate around my waist.
Yep, I still got it at nearly the age of 53.

Know what kills me though? You narrow, svelte guys and your chin-ups. I work very hard at the wide-grip chins, but I'm only good for maybe 10-12 reps. I see those guys going about a buck-45 or so knocking out sets of 20. I always tell them to hang a hundred pounds off their *** and see how many reps they can do.

Try the chin ups with one arm...I can do about 30.
