I would the guess it's the ROC nation sign. Rapper Jay-Z's record label the ROC is known for "throwing up the diamond" as a hand gesture. Not sure if this is what Demarco is doing but, Jacory Harris had his eye black saying ROC NATION its a very prominent thing; Mark Ingram threw up the diamond when he scored against tu last year in the national title game. Close but not quite its a "dynasty" sign (http://www.zupes.com/img/Jay-Z%20-%20Dynasty%20Roc%20la%20Familia.jpg). Jay-z made up the diamond sign(aka dynasty sign) around 99-2000 and has been using it ever since. Its not a Roc Nation sign because he just formed Roc Nation recently. He pretty much used it to promote his label and thats when it was in full force and he referred him and his label mates as a dynasty. At that time they were putting out #1 records and killing the charts. He chose the diamond because the whole "diamonds are forever, valuble, and unbreakable" , etc. this explains it best



The dynasty sign is a sign made popular by Jay-Z. It is not a gang sign it represents an album label, and it is regularly used by athletes to demonstrate victory or dominance.
