Boosh is our only 1st teamer

Zach Neal 2nd team

Jack Mayfield 2nd team ??

Hubbard, Seitzer, and White were Hon Mention


How do we finish in 2nd place and only get 2 guys on 1st or 2nd team. IMO, Mayfield didnt belong while Duke and Seitzer did, at the least

Max White was named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All American


White, an All-Big 12 honorable mention selection, hit .307 with 13 doubles, 14 home runs and 40 RBI. The outfielder also recorded a .608 slugging percentage and .941 fielding percentage in his first year

Boosh named an AA


Garrett Buechele (Oklahoma), Taylor Jungmann, Chance Ruffin (Texas), Barret Loux and John Stilson (Texas A&M) were selected as members of Baseball America’s 2010 College All-America Teams.

Loux and Ruffin garnered first-team honors, while Buechele, Jungmann and Stilson earned spots on the second team.

Loux went 11-2 with a 2.83 ERA in 17 games. The junior from Houston, Texas struck out 136 and walked just 34 in 105.0 innings of work. The right-handed pitcher held opponents to a .202 batting average.

Ruffin owns a 1.11 ERA with a record of 6-1. The Austin, Texas-native notched 14 saves in 37 games. The northpaw held opponents to a .180 batting average and yielded just 10 runs (eight earned) and 19 walks while striking out 97 over 64.2 innings.

Buechele leads the Sooners, hitting .371 with 16 doubles, 16 home runs and 64 RBI. The sophomore third baseman has recorded a .645 slugging percentage and a .452 on base percentage.

Jungmann posted an 8-3 record with a 2.03 ERA. The Temple, Texas-native allowed just 32 runs while retiring 129 in 120.0 innings pitched. The right-handed thrower held foes to a .209 average at the plate.

Stilson is 9-1 with 10 saves. His 0.80 ERA leads the nation. The sophomore right-hander allowed just 12 runs (seven earned) in 79 innings of work, while striking out 114 and holding hitters to a .181 average
