It was a brutal night; blue was killing us behind the plate, and with the wind blowing in from the north our bats didn't have their usual pop. Memphis' big inning was sparked by an at-bat where Neal should have gotten the strikeout but the ump called strike 3 a ball twice, then the batter hits a fairly routine fly ball down the left field line and when White plants to cut and chase it down, he slips in the outfield marsh and falls. Two-bagger. It was all downhill from there.

FYI, tomorrow's game has been moved to a 2 p.m. start to try and dodge the weather. Sunday is still expected to start at 1. They're giving away mini batting helmets tomorrow, so bundle up and come on out if you can.

We should send a thank-you basket to Baylor; we needed Tech losses more than K-State ones since we hold the tiebreaker against the Wildcats, but lost the series with Tech.
