Boredom, silliness, hazing are all quite acceptable reasons for these military videos. We are celebrating freedom and fighting for freedom, so personal messages from the front, we got to love it. And as long as these reasons exist and the whole cool factor for new recruits from the use of some incredibly impressive hardware, it seems that the military establishment goes along with it, or that is the vibe I am getting from the main stream media’s take of and promotion of the video in a round-about way.

But, that lip-syncing video has so many layers open to interpretation from the lyrics and dance. I had no idea who Lady Gaga is and what she is trying to say. Maybe that isn’t important at all, but what you take from it. Our heroes may be busy and dance has a lot of meanings. I am thankful and proud that they are the ones getting up to the big dance for our freedom. God bless our troops, ghey or not.

Yeah, I caught that, TUSonner. Poke Dean even more because I'm sure he deserves it.

The only video that I can't totally agree with is the one with blindfolded prisoners of war. Or, are we supposed to be calling them terrorists instead? I get confused on the correct terminology. I mean that setting of foreign nationals captured to the whimiscal American tune and gloating over them has to not really be so productive in winning hearts and minds to the American way in overseas countries.
