The Rams already have a number 14, so I don't know if they will give that to Sam or not. He could wear 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12 or 15. Or they could make Keenan Burton give him 14. Number 13 Mike Reilly will probably be cut, but there's a chance that number will be retired.

Usually the veteran gets to keep their number. Favre was not a rookie when he came to the Vikings. Torry Holt was the #6 overall pick in '99 but did not get Az Hakim's number 81 until Hakim left the Rams a couple of years later.

It's also entirely possible that Bradford simply chose number 8 rather than make an issue of it. In any case, it appears he will change numbers.

I recall that when Superman Roy Williams got to Dallas #38 was taken so he had to change to #31.I think he said the Dalas playerwho had it(IIDKW) offered to let him have it for 50K.Roy said it wasn't worth it.
